Provision of training to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust volunteers on grassland habitats; including grassland ecology, management options and management requirement of special species. Site visits to limestone grassland and acid grassland sites. Part of YWT Wildlife Wealth Project.
Provision of training to HSBC volunteer group on vegetation monitoring methods, reasons for surveying and basic plant identification. Setting up and surveying fixed transects and carrying out random quadrat sampling in different grassland areas with YWT Reserve Officer and volunteer group.
